A recipe can be used with one or more products, and a product can be linked to more than one recipe. This means it's simple to maintain a library of alternative recipes that could be used for a product, and the current recipe can be switched on or off as required.

This is made especially easy because all recipes are continually recosted as ingredient prices change. So to see which is the most cost-effective recipe needs nothing more than the click of a button.

Setting up a new recipe couldn't be easier. And the ability to select an existing recipe as the basis of a new one means that recipe modification and development is quick and reliable.

Couple all of these features with ProdTrac's unique traceability suites and you have a powerful management system that has no equal. Because traceability control means that temporarily inactive recipes can never be deleted or lost, only archived. There is a permanent record of the exact recipe that was used in any individual production, however long ago that may be.
