In 2003 we at Granby’s selected ProdTrac as our software provider primarily for food traceability. As a small firm we found the market did not cater well for our needs at a realistic price. However ProdTrac had a package specifically for this market that integrated well with our accounts software and was and still is a very flexible solution at a price that was affordable to us.

At this time ProdTrac was ahead of what seemed to be very few other available systems because it was Windows based and the software package had been clearly developed from the start with the food industry in mind. Other traceability systems we looked at seemed to be “bolt-ons” to DOS based accountancy packages.
